Promoting Conservation of
Wildlife and Habitat

We promote the work of young scientists, field biologists and educators working in the field of wildlife conservation in areas such as scientific research, habitat conservation, community-based conservation initiatives and educational programmes using citizen science approach.

We work with Aaranyak to encourage young researchers and educators who are working on:

  • Conservation of Tigers
  • Conservation of Rhinoceros
  • Conservation of Elephants
  • Conservation of Gangetic Dolphins
  • Conservation of Hoolock Gibbons

The young researchers and educators are working in the vicinity of Manas Tiger Reserve, Brahmaputra River Basin, Kaziranga National Park and Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary in Assam. The conservation programme includes environmental education initiatives for students, teachers and local community members and development of educational resource material to promote conservation efforts.
