Skill Development and Sustainable Technologies

We promote skill development and sustainable technologies for forest conservation and efficiency of devices such as cook stoves, water heating systems, and agro-products' driers.

The project has installed a range of agro-processing technologies such as domestic cooking-pan cook stove, 2+1 pan cook stove, stove mould for rapid construction; bath water heating; agro-processing for areca boiling and jaggery making, agro-processing driers for fruits and vegetables.

Skill development project using Water Hyacinth (Jal Kumbhi)

A community weaves water hyacinth into eco-friendly products. Water hyacinth is a free floating non-native plant. It is known to cause significant ecological change in the water body including water quality. Our focus is on – Skill development; Alternative livelihood avenues and Conservation of water bodies and biodiversity; and Environment education and awareness of the local community members
